HARRISBURG, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team faced off against Keuka College and Wells College and came away with two wins at the Penn State Harrisburg hosted quad match yesterday afternoon. The Nittany Lions improve to 11-14 for the season and 4-2 in the conference tied for third place in the NEAC standings.

Jenny McAnaney recorded 43 kills for the day and right behind
Katharine Costello earned 39 kills between moth matches. Senior
Cortney Schwar had a record setting day with 50 assists in one game which is a single game record for the Penn State Abington women's volleyball team. The senior setter finished the day with 94 total assists.
The Nittany Lions topped Keuka College in the first match winning the first two sets 25-17, and 25-19 before the Wolves won a close 25-23 set in the third set. Abington cruised to victory to lock up the 3-1 win in the fourth set defeating Keuka 25-16.
In game two the Nittany Lions again jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after a 25-23 win in the first set. The express rallied in the second set in a close 28-26 win to tie the match 1-1 with the Nittany Lions. Abington rebounded winning another close set 25-23, and then put away Wells College in the fourth set 25-19.
The Nittany Lions look to continue their hot streak when they continue conference play at Morrisville State next Saturday. Facing Cazenovia College at 12:00 p.m. and Morrisville State at 2:00 p.m.
