MORRISVILLE, NY- The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team traveled to Morrisville State University to face the Cazenovia Wildcats and the Mustangs. The Nittany Lions split the day by defeating the Wildcats 3-1 and dropping to the Mutsangs 0-3. Abington improves to 12-15 on the season, and 5-3 in conference.

Leading the Nittany Lions in game one was sophomore
Jenny McAnaney (Maple Glen, PA) who recorded 26 kills, 13 digs, and 3 blocks. Behind her was teammate
Katharine Costello (New Hope, PA) who earned 13 kills and 5 aces. Abington won in four sets 25-14,22-25, 25-21, 25-19.

In game two, the Nittany Lions were shutout by the Mustangs in three sets 25-19, 25-13, and 25-21. Morrisville outscored Abington 68-33, and remain leading the NEAC with a perfect 8-0 record.

Up next, Abington will celebrate senior day on October 26 when they host SUNY Cobleskill at noon, followed by SUNY Poly at 2:00pm.
