ASTON, PA- The Penn State Abington women's basketball picked up their first loss of the season on the road, against Neumann University this evening. The Nittany Lions fall to 1-1 on the season.

Abington did a phenomenal job pounding points in the paint, outworking the Knights 40-20. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Nittany Lions had a tight 41-37 lead. However, Abington committed 12 fouls allowing Neumann to go to the free throw line to rack up 12 additional points. Seven untimely turnovers in the fourth quarter also allowed Neumann to escape with the 59-56 victory.

Sydney Barrow (Philadelphia, PA) who dropped a season best of 14 points. Joining her in double digits were sophomores
Wynter Bess (Philadelphia, PA) &
Mikayla Noel-Cohen (Sicklersville, NJ) who each contributed 10 points for the Nittany Lions.

Up next Abington will head to the Muhlenberg Tournament this Friday for a 1:00pm match up against the Catholic University of America.
