ROSEMONT, PA. – The Penn State  Abington women's lacrosse team picked up its first win setting a new record in a  23-3 rout over Rosemont College on Tuesday night. The Nittany Lions improve to 1-3 after the win.
Junior attacker 
Alynn Phelan  (Philadelphia, PA) netted seven goals to lead the Nittany Lions. Right behind 
Kiera O'Keeffe  (Yardley, PA) added four goals which set a career high for the sophomore.
In the first half the Nittany Lions dominated with twelve straight goals that was capped off by 
Sajida Halimi (Philadelphia, PA) netting her first collegiate goal.  The ravens netted their first goal with 6:12 on the clock but the Nittany Lions responded with by closing the half on a 3-0 run up 15-1 at the break.
It didn't take 
Lillian Diesh (San Carlos, CA) long to find the back of the net in the second half with a goal on 33 seconds into the period. Abington was in complete control of every aspect on their way to the biggest margin of victory in school history.
Abington will look to continue their momentum when they travel to Neumann University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
