MORRISVILLE, NY – The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team traveled to reigning NEAC Champion  Morrisville State but couldn't pull of the upset in a 22-2 loss to the Mustangs on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

Sophomore Kiera O'Keeffe (Yardley, PA) led the Nittany Lions scoring both goals to increase her season total to 12.

The Mustangs pulled ahead quickly and didn't look back, O'Keeffe netted her first goal of the game with 16:21 left in the half. Later in the period O'Keeffe found the back of the net again with her goal in the final six minutes of the first half.

Abington will look to rebound tomorrow when they face off against SUNY Poly at noon.
