MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Penn State Abington women's softball team wrapped up their final day at the Fastpitch Dreams Classic. The Nittany Lions split two games today and finished the weekend with a 2-5 record.
Abington dropped game one to the University of Mary Washington 7-1. The lone run came in the 3
rd inning after two defensive errors were made by the Eagles. There were five hits generated by Abington's offense from
Jackie McMenamin (Oreland, PA),
Becca Dougherty (Churchville, PA),
Samantha Friend (Southampton, PA) Stephanie Andreoli (Richboro, PA), and
Ryann Rhoades (Philadelphia, PA).
In game two, the Nittany Lions were tied 3-3 to Rivier College heading into the top of the 7

th for a 3:00 pm doubleheader.
