AURORA, NY – The Penn State Abington lacrosse team traveled to Wells College but couldn't pull off a win in a 21-7 loss to the Express on Friday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 2-11 for the season and 1-5 in the conference.

Senior Melissa Felicetti (Willow Grove, PA) led the way for the Nittany Lions with four goals with junior Alynn Phelan (Philadelphia, PA) netting another two goals.

The Express were on the board quickly but Felicetti responded only moments later with her first goal of the game. Over the next few minutes the Express and Nittany Lions went back and forth, but Wells would eventually pull away with an 11-1 run before half time. The Nittany Lions tacked on another goal early in the second half but it wasn't enough to shift momentum in their favor.

The Nittany Lions continue their road trip tomorrow when they face off against Cazenovia College at 1:00 p.m.
