JENKINTOWN, PA – The Penn State Abington baseball team hosted regional powerhouse The College of New Jersey but fell to the Lions 15-5 on Tuesday afternoon. Abington falls to 10-10 for the season after the loss.
The Lions took the lead in with nine runs in the second and third inning, but in the bottom of the third the Nittany Lions chipped away at the lead with two runs highlighted by an RBI single from
Paul Woodley (Levittown, PA). Abington struggled to get past the plate until the eighth inning when the Nittany Lions took advantage of an error to and a pair of RBI's to finish out their scoring.
The Nittany Lions will be back in action when they host SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.
