JENKINTOWN, PA – After winning the first two games of the series against SUNY Cobleskill, the Penn State Abington baseball team hosted the Fighting Tigers but couldn't pull off the sweep in a 17-5 loss. After the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 12-11 for the season and 5-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

Tyler DiPatri (Pedricktown, NJ) notched his second home run of the season on a towering fly ball over the right field wall.
Cobleskill jumped out early on the Nittany Lions with seven runs in the first three innings. Abington chipped away at the lead with two runs in the third and a RBI single from
Zach Morales (Barrington, NJ) in the fourth inning.
The Fighting Tigers added another eight runs in the fifth inning to put the game out of reach for the Nittany Lions.
Abington will be back in action when they host Cabrini College on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
