: One of the outstanding rookies on the 2018 Penn State Abington baseball team, Zachary Brightbill made a major impact on the mound for the Nittany Lions.  Zachary was one of the team’s top relievers out of the bullpen.  Zach’s first appearance was on 2/16/2018 vs Frostburg State where he threw 1.2 innings out of relief.  Zach’s first win came against Desales University on 3/9/2018 where he threw 3.0 innings out of relief.

Baseball 2018: Appeared in 13 games for the Nittany Lions. Posted a 4.71 ERA with 28.2 innings pitched and a 3-1 record.

High School: Daniel Boone High School, graduating in 2017.  Zach was All Area honorable mention his sophomore year; All County and All Area first team his junior year; and All Division his senior year.

 
Personal: Born 3-25-1999…Nicknamed “Bill"... Criminal Justice major at Penn State University Abington…Zachary is the son of Nathan and Jamie Brightbill of Birdsboro PA.
