SALISBURY, MD- The Penn State Abington baseball team dropped their first game of the NCAA Tournament Regional to Rowan University 18-2 on Friday morning.
The Profs had a powerful offensive inning in the bottom of the third where they scored 10 runs. They later added six more in the bottom of the fifth, and two in the sixth. Abington went scoreless through eight innings of play until the bottom of the ninth.

Louis Rossner (Delran, NJ) to load up the bases following his single to right field. Rowan's pitching walked in two of Abington's only runs before escaping with the 18-2 victory.
The Nittany Lions will face loser of Game 2 Salisbury University tomorrow morning at 8:30am.
