BRYN ATHYN, PA. – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team honored the passing of freshman Jaden Truskey by winning the first annual Jaden Truskey Cup in a 7-1 win over Bryn Athyn on Saturday afternoon. After today's win the Nittany Lions improve to 1-1 for the season.

Senior striker Hernando Villamil netted himself four goals in the opener with goals in the 8^th, 24^th, and two in the 64^th minute of the game. After his sensational display today Villamil moves into second all-time in goals with 32, only three behind Elsion Pajollari.

It didn't take long for freshman Michael Thomas to open his collegiate account with a goal in the fifth minute of action. Villamil doubled the lead in the 8^th minute and pushed the Nittany Lions to a 3-0 advantage after his second goal of the game. Before the half Bryn Athyn got on to the board to make it 3-1.

Coming out of the break it took Sebastian Krysztofowicz only a few minutes to net his first goal of the season. Villamil put on a display in the 64^th minute by scoring two goals only 22 seconds apart.  Later in the half freshman Ryan Hannigan also earned his first collegiate goal in the 71^st minute to put away the Lions.

The Nittany Lions will continue their road trip when they travel to Rowan University on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
