LANGHORNE, PA- The Penn State Abigton men's tennis team picked up their first win of the season on the road by defeating Cairn University 9-0.
 
The Nittany Lions dominated in doubles actions with pairs Michael Litz (Huntingdon Valley, PA)/ Dhruv Shahane (Pune, India) at flight one, Ilker Erkut (Philadelphia, PA) / Sage Kiergasky at flight two, and Andrew Cavanuagh (Wyndmoor, PA) / Philip Belotserkovsky (Warminster, PA) in the three spot. Abington swept 8-2, 8-1 and 8-0.

Four Nittany Lions had perfect games during singles competition with 6-0, 6-0 victories; Michael Llitz (No.1), Dhruv Shahane (No.4), Sage Kiergarsky (No.5), and Andrew Cavanuagh (No.6). Both Ilker Erkut and teammate Philip Belotserkovsky took home 6-1, 6-0 wins for Abington.
 
Up the Nittany Lions will host Ursinus College on September 23^rd for a 3:30pm match.
