MUHLENBERG, PA- The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team traveled to Muhlenberg College for a two day tournament. However, the Nittany dropped all four games and fall to 4-7 on the season.

Despite 17 kills from
Katharine Costello (New Hope, PA) and 29 digs from
Gaby Shreve (Marshall, MI) in game one, the Nittany Lions were defeated by the College of Mount Saint Vincent 3-1. In game two Abington dropped three sets in a row 25-11, 25-17, and 25-10 to Haverford College.

On Saturday against the host team Muhlenberg College, Costello once against led the Nittany Lions in kills with 13 and 15 digs. Senior
Angie Tabares (Hackensack, NJ) put five blocks on the board for Abington, but the Mules escaped with a 3-1 victory. To end the tournament, Abington faced the Eastern University Eagles, but were swept 3-0. SeniorÂ
Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ) had 22 assists, 7 digs, and 2 aces for Abington. Â
