HARRISBURG, PA – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team traveled to conference newcomer Penn State Harrisburg, but Abington couldn't stun the home team in a 1-0 loss on Wednesday afternoon.

After the loss the Nittany Lions drop to 2-4 for the season and 1-2 in the conference.

Harrisburg got onto the board in the first half in the 26
th minute and was able to shut down Abington, not allowing a single shot in the first half.

Abington's best chance came in the second half when the visitors earned a free kick right outside the box. Junior
Jose Palomeque took the free kick that went just wide of the post.

Abington will return home where they look to rebound against Penn College on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
