ABINGTON, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team hosted Penn College, but the Nittany Lions couldn't top the Wildcats in a 2-0 loss on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 2-7 for the season and 0-4 in the conference.

The Nittany Lions fell behind in the first half after the Wildcats earned a goal off a corner kick in the 21^st minute.  Abington fired five shots to try to make it level, and tested the goal keeper twice, but the Nittany Lions couldn't tie the match before the break.

Abington pressed in the second half to get the tying goal, but Penn College doubled their lead off another corner to push the game out of reach.

The Nittany Lions will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Cabrini at 4:00 p.m.
