WASHINGTON, D.C- Â On the final day of the Worthington Classic, the Penn State Abington women's volleyball team added two more losses to their 0-4 weekend. The Nittany Lions fall to 6-14 on the season.

In game one, SUNY Cortland outscored the Nittany Lions 56-22 taking home an easy 25-17, 25-14, and 25-10 win.  The Red Dragons out played Abington with 43 kills, while the Nittany Lions only tallied 21. Ten of those kills came from
Katharine Costello (New Hope, PA), while
Jenny McAnaney (Maple Glen, PA)Â racked up nine.

Abington bounced back in game two against Bethany College by taking the first set 25-21. However, the Nittany Lions couldn't rally against the Bison's 14 aces. Bethany took sets two, three, and four with 25-13, 25-19, and 25-19 victories. Abington's top leaders in game two were Costello who finished with 23 kills, 19 digs, and 2 blocks, while McAnaneny earned 12 kills and 20 digs. SeniorÂ
Cortney Schwar (Annandale, NJ)Â collected 51 assists for Abington today.Â

Abington will hit the road once again this week when they travel to Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday for a 7:00pm match.
