ABINGTON,PA- Despite a season best performance from
Lacy MacLachlin (Boyertown, PA) with 12 points, the Penn State Abington women's basketball team fell to Penn State Berks 63-49. With this loss Abington drops to 7-13 overall and 5-7 in conference.

Abington's offense was driven by senior veterans
Laquana Nagbe (Philadelphia, PA) and
Sydney Barrow (Philadelphia, PA) who each earned ten points in tonight's performance. Barrow collected a double-double with ten rebounds as well.
Ashya Gaddy (Philadelphia, PA) and
Dakiya Daniels (Vernon Hills, IL)Â each dropped six baskets.

Abington took the early lead in the first quarter 11-9 over Berks. However, Abington's lead was cut short after Berks's offense put the game out of reach with a 24 point advantage over the Nittany Lions. Penn State Berks held Abington to their lowest scoring conference game of this season, walking away with a 63-49 victory.
