MORRISVILLE, NY- The Penn State Abington women's basketball team kicked off their final road trip of the season by facing Morrisville State College on Friday evening. Despite a 23-point performance from senior Laquana Nagbe, the Nittany Lion fell short to the Mustangs 92-84.

As a team, Abington achieved their second highest scoring game of the season by scoring 84 points. Powering the Nittany Lions offense was junior Ashya Gaddy who drained 20 buckets and swatted four blocks. Junior Iman Richmond put up a season best of 13 points, while sophomore Lacy MacLachlin contributed 12. Sydney Barrow also earned double digits in tonight's performance with 11 points and 7 rebounds.

Abington's offense sank an impressive 62% of their field goals and only trailed the Mustangs 23-18 at the end of the first quarter. Morrisville extended their lead by a few baskets taking the 45-38 advantage at half time. Iman Richmond opened the third quarter with a big three to cut Morrisville's lead down. MacLachlin joined by sinking two deep threes to contribute to Abington's 21 point quarter.

Trailing 62-59 heading into the fourth quarter, Nagbe sparked Abington's fight with a three ball to tie the game at 62 a piece. However, the Mustangs went on a 10-0 run over the Nittany Lions, and were able to escape with 92-84 win.
