BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team opened up their season at Bryn Mawr College, but couldn't come away with a win in a 19-2 loss on Saturday afternoon.
Defensively,
Lillian Ritz led the Nittany Lions with three ground balls and four caused turnovers.
The Profs got out to a quick start with five consecutive goals in the first five minutes of action. Junior attacker Mason Delarso broke the Profs streak with her goal, taking advantage being up a player for her first goal of the season.
 The Nittany Lions only other goal would come from
Alynn Phelan with seven minutes left to go in the half.
Abington will look to rebound when they travel to Wesley College next Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
