READING, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team traveled to Penn State Berks but were shut out by the hosts 6-0 on Wednesday night. Abington falls to 6-6-1 overall and 2-4 in the United East Conference.

Maria Tunney to make 11 saves in the game.
The hosts came out strong scoring goals in the 11
th, 14
th and 18
th minute of action. Right before the half Berks added another to make the game 4-0 before the break.
In the second half Berks scored almost immediately with a goal in the 48
th minute and capped off their high-powered display in the 87
th minute to put away Abington 6-0.
The Nittany Lions look to rebound when they travel to Wells College for a 3:30 p.m. start.
