READING, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team traveled to Penn State Berks but were shut out by the hosts 6-0 on Wednesday night.  Abington falls to 6-6-1 overall and 2-4 in the United East Conference.

Berks outshot Abington 32-3 forcing junior keeper Maria Tunney to make 11 saves in the game.

The hosts came out strong scoring goals in the 11^th, 14^th and 18^th minute of action. Right before the half Berks added another to make the game 4-0 before the break.

In the second half Berks scored almost immediately with a goal in the 48^th minute and capped off their high-powered display in the 87^th minute to put away Abington 6-0.

The Nittany Lions look to rebound when they travel to Wells College for a 3:30 p.m. start.
