LANCASTER, PA. – On the road in a tough conference matchup, the Penn State Abington women's soccer team faced off against Lancaster Bible but couldn't come away with a win in a 2-0 loss on Saturday afternoon.  After the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 6-4-1 overall and 2-2 in the United East Conference.

Maria Tunney faced 13 shots and made nine saves for the Nittany Lions. Abington was outshot by the Chargers but not by much with the Nittany Lions firing 10 with six going on target.
In the first half the Chargers pressed to get the first goal by Tunney did well to block the Chargers from taking the lead. After the break the hosts took the lead on the Nittany Lions in the 74
th minute with a goal from Kendal Ream, and in the 82
nd minute she doubled the lead for the Chargers and put the game out of reach.
Abington will look to rebound when they host St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday October 16
th.
