ABINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team hosted undefeated Lebanon Valley College, but couldn't pull off the upset in a 2-0 loss on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions fall to 1-2 for the season after the loss.

In the first half the Nittany Lions forced some spectacular saves from the Fighting Dutchman. Senior defender Alec Howser curled a shot that would have gone under the bar but keeper parried it away to keep the Nittany Lions off the board.  The visitors got on the board by taking advantage of a miscue by the Nittany Lions and picked the defenders pocket for an easy one on one goal.

Abington kept attacking in the second half getting their chances but the Fighting Dutchman kept the Nittany Lions off the board and added to their total in the 76^th minute to close the door on the Nittany Lions.

Next the Nittany Lions will hit the road and travel to Ursinus College on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
