ABINGTON, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team faced off against conference rivals Penn State Harrisburg, but were shut out 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Nittany Lions fall to 2-2-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

Maria Tunney made her debut between the sticks for the Nittany Lions and made nine saves off of Harrisburg's 15 shots. Unfortunately Abington couldn't break down Harrisburg and only came away with four shots with three on target.
The visitors were up early after a corner came in and hit off the right post and back into the net to give Harrisburg a 1-0 lead. Later in the first half Harrisburg doubled the lead in the 21
st minute.
In the second half the visitors put away Abington with the third goal of the game in the 73
rd minute.
Abington will regroup and travel to Delaware Valley University on Wednesday with the game time at 7:00 p.m.
