DOYLESTOWN, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team traveled to Delaware Valley University but came away empty handed in a 4-0 loss on Wednesday night. The Nittany Lions fall to 2-3-1 for the season.
The Aggies Jess Williamson scored a hat-trick with goals in the 33
rd, 44
th and 64
th minute. The hosts outshot Abington 26-7 forcing goalkeeper
Maria Tunney to make eight saves on the evening.
Delaware Valley added another goal in the 63
rd minute moments before Williamson scored her third of the evening.
Abington will look to rebound when they travel to Gallaudet University this Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
