HACKETTSTOWN, NJ. – On the road at Centenary University the Penn State Abington women's volleyball earned a split decision against the Cyclones and the Pratt Institute on Saturday afternoon.  The Nittany Lions took down the hosts in the first match earning a 3-0 win, but fell to the Cannoneers later in the day 3-1.  After today the Nittany Lions move to 7-8 overall.

Jenny McAnaney earned back-to-back double-doubles with a total of 20 kills and 27 digs for the day. Sammy Burkhart and
Haley Koch split setting duties as the setter, and both earned 26 assists to run the attack.
In game one the Nittany Lions dominated in the first set and took down the Cyclones 25-11. In the next set again Abington cruised to an easy victory earning them a 25-14 win to go up 2-0 for the match. Centenary took an early lead in the third set, but Abington rallied and took the final set 25-17.
Abington kept momentum going into the second game against the Pratt Institute by winning the first set 25-16.  In the second set a 9-0 run for the Cannoneers stole momentum from the Nittany Lions and helped them to tie the set after a 25-14 set. Tied 1-1 with Pratt, the Nittany Lions battled but fell short and the Cannoneers took the 2-1 advantage over Abington going into the fourth set. The Cannoneers took down the Nittany Lions to complete their come-from behind win with a 25-15 decision.
The Nittany Lions will return home and host St. Elizabeth University on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
