ABINGTON, PA. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team faced off against Saint Elizabeth University and shut out the Eagles in a convincing 3-0 win on Wednesday night. The Nittany Lions improve to 8-8 for the season.

Jenny McAnaney picked up another double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs, while sophomore Kiandraliz Donilla dominated the serve earning five service aces for the night.
The first set started out as a tight contest between the Nittany Lions and Eagles, but the hosts surged ahead with an 11-1 run thanks to strong serves from
Emma de Mey and a pair of kills from McAnaney. Abington would go on to take the first set 25-14 to give them the 1-0 advantage. The hosts dominated the second set starting with a 17-4 lead and eventually winning the set 25-9. The Nittany Lions started out strong again and it looked like it would be an easy third set after a 15-1 run. The Eagles rallied and came within four points only down 21-17. Abington would hold off the Eagles thanks to a pair of clutch kills from
Joycelyn Ackah to clinch the match.
Abington will be back in action tomorrow night when they host Delaware Valley at 7:00 p.m.
