How It Happened

* Two early first half goals, both scored by sophomore Eljo Agolli, turned out to be more than enough offense for the Nittany Lions on the day.  Agolli scored his first goal in the 14th minute off a penalty kick and then followed with another score in the 19th minute.  Sophomore Mike Thomas pushed the ball through the defense while fellow sophomore Arsene Bado fed Agolli with touch-pass to assist on the score.

* The score remained 2-0 in favor of Abington for the final 79:17 minutes of action.  Abington limited Berks to just three shots in the second half with all three off-target.

* Junior goalkeeper Matt Sheldon tallied his second complete shutout of the season as he made three saves in net.  Sheldon now has 99 career saves; one shy of 100.  He currently ranks fourth all-time in the program's record book.

* Agolli, who was named the United East Offensive Player of the Week, recorded his second straight multi-goal game and third of the season.  His second goal of the game marked the 10th of his career.

* Thomas tied his career-high with his third assist of the season.

* Abington outshot Berks by a 18-9 margin and held a 6-2 edge on corner kicks.  Abington totaled nine shots in each half.
