Abington Falls to Cairn in Non-Conference Play

Langhorne, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match at Cairn University by the score of 8-1 on Thursday afternoon at the McCurdy Tennis Facility.

How It Happened
 
* The Highlanders jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the match after taking all three doubles competitions before taking five-of-six points in singles play.
 
* Abington junior Tinatin Sadzaglishvili picked up the team's lone point in her second singles match up with Rachel Robertson.  Sadzaglishvili came away with an 8-6 triumph to earn her second straight singles victory. 
 
Next Up
Abington has concluded the fall portion of its schedule and will resume play later this spring.  The Nittany Lions return to action on Saturday, March 4 with a home match against Albright College.
