ABINGTON, PA -- Penn State Abington celebrated its two seniors, guards
Wynter Bess and
Lacy MacLachlin, as the squad dropped a 91-70 decision to Penn State Harrisburg in a United East Conference women's basketball contest.
Harrisburg (15-8, 1-5) led from start to finish, including a huge opening 10 minutes when it sprinted out to a 31-14 advantage. Four points separated the teams over the final three quarters. Â
Â
Bess scored 18 points while adding five rebounds, four assists and one steal. The steal upped her season total to 68 which ranks fourth on Abington's single-season list.
