How It Happened

* Trailing 9-7 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, Abington needed just two runs to tie the game.  They did that and much, much more.  Back-to-back two run singles by senior Ryan McCarty and sophomore Tim Petrucelli tied the game and gave Abington an 11-9 lead; its first of the game.

* Abington sent 21 batters to the plate in the seventh and registered 15 runs and six hits.  The team took advantage of inconsistency from the Gallaudet pitchers with seven walks and three hit batters in the inning.  Freshman Anthony Bencardino also drove in a pair of runs in the inning with a two-run double.

* Gallaudet led 6-2 after the first 2.5 innings of play.
