How It Happened (Game 1)

* Trailing 5-3 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Abington exploded for five runs on seven hits to leave the inning ahead 8-5.  The first six batters of the inning reached base with Jenna Gorman and Isabella Walters recording back-to-back run scoring hits to tie the game at 5-5.  Elyssa Bohr then followed with a clutch two-run double to give Abington its first lead of the game since leading 2-0 after the first inning.  Two batters later Mary Kate Smith singled through the left side to score Walters and in the process extend the lead to 8-5.

* The Chargers made things interesting in the top half of the seventh.  With one run already in off an Abington error, the Chargers loaded the bases with two outs.  However, Bohr was able to retire Lancaster Bibles' Noelle Martin with a fly out for the final out to secure the win.

* Abington scored the game's first two runs in the opening inning thanks to a Laura VanHoeven two-run single to center field.  Smith and Abbi Long scored on the play.

* A three-run second inning by Lancaster Bible gave the Chargers a 3-2 lead.  The lead was short-lived as Abington tied the game in the bottom of the inning after taking advantage on a Chargers' miscue in the field.

* Lancaster Bible regained the lead with a run in the third and extended its lead to 5-3 with another solo run in the fifth inning.
