Annville, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest at Lebanon Valley College by the score of 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Herbert Field.

How It Happened
 
* A foul inside the box by Abington led to a penalty kick opportunity for Lebanon Valley in the 10th minute of play.  Peter Foerster converted the kick for the Dutchmen to claim the game's lone goal.
 
* Abington only had two shots on-goal; one in each half.  The first coming in the 29th minute off a shot from freshman Tony Colon.  Sophomore Arsene Bado had the team's second shot-on goal in attempt to tie the game within the first minute of the second half, but the Dutchmen's keeper, Dalton Fitterling, made the stop to preserve the shutout.

* Junior goalkeeper Matt Sheldon tied his career-high with seven saves in net for the Nittany Lions.
 
* Bado and Colon each had a pair of shots in the game.
 
* Abington totaled six corner kick attempts, while Lebanon Valley had nine corners in the game.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked just the second meeting between Abington and Lebanon Valley.  The Dutchmen are 2-0-0 versus the Nittany Lions having won last year's match up as well by the score of 2-0.
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 13 as the Nittany Lions head to Gwynedd Mercy University for a non-conference match up with the Griffins.  Game time is set for 4 p.m.
