How It Happened

* Abington was able to play with the lead majority of the game thanks to an early goal by sophomore Arsene Bado. In the eighth minute, Bado tallied his second goal of the season with the game's first shot to give the Nittany Lions a 1-0 advantage.

* The Nittany Lions doubled their lead late in the second half when junior Mike Thomas scored his first goal of the season to make the score 2-0 in the 76^th minute.

* Junior goalkeeper Matt Sheldon recorded his first shutout of the season and the fourth of his career.
