Abington Falls to Bryn Athyn in Non-Conference Action

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest at Bryn Athyn College by the score of 6-1 on Tuesday evening at General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

How It Happened
 
* Three goals in a five-minute span by Bryn Athyn turned out to be the difference in the game.  The Lions' Ashley Rivera scored the game's first goal off a penalty kick in the 21st minute.
 
* Bryn Athyn scored again in the 23rd and 26th minutes with goals by Joseline Tlapaya and Kira Bradley to take a 3-0 lead.
 
* Bradley scored her second goal of the game in the 68th minute before Devon Morris added a score in the 71st minute.  Rivera also scored a second goal with a strike in the 76th minute.
 
* Abington broke up Bryn Athyn's shutout bid in the 81st minute when sophomore Madison McDowell scored her fourth goal of the season.
