How It Happened

* Abington erased a 15-point deficit in the second half to tie the game at 60-60 with 1:11 to play in regulation.  The Nittany Lions found themselves 51-36 at the 16:11 mark of the half.  From there, Abington went on a massive 24-9 run over the next 15 minutes to tie the game.

* A three-pointer by senior Alex Podolski with 1:46 to play brought the Nittany Lions to within one point of the Wells' lead.  On the team's next possession, sophomore Lexuus Fasce tied the game at 60-60 after splitting a pair of free throws.

* However, a costly turnover by the Nittany Lions in the final seconds led to Wells' Terrance Clayton-Murphy being fouled on a fast-break after recording a defensive steal.  Clayton-Murphy made both free throws with just 3.1 showing on the clock.  Outside a timeout, Abington managed to get off a last second shot, but the attempt came up empty as time expired.

* Abington was playing catch-up majority of the game as the Nittany Lions trailed by as many as 16 points late in the first half.  Wells led 39-23 with 3:44 to play until halftime.  However, Abington was able to cut into the lead and made it a 10-point game heading into halftime.  Randolph drained a three-pointer on the team's final possession of the half to make the score 41-31.
