How It Happened

* Lancaster Bible led from beginning to end as the Chargers established a 10-point advantage late in the first half.  A score by Seth Beers gave the home team a 26-16 lead with 2:51 to play until halftime.  Abington responded with a quick 6-0 run thanks to back-to-back three-pointers by senior Brian Randolph III.  The Nittany Lions cut the deficit to 28-24 by the end of the half.

* In the second half senior Alex Podolski scored on the Nittany Lions' first possession to make it a two-point game at 28-26.  However, that would be as close as Abington would get of Lancaster Bible's lead.  The Chargers followed with an 8-0 run to increase their lead back to double-figures at 36-26 at the 17:05 mark.

* The 8-0 run by the Chargers turned into a 22-4 surge that propelled the home team to a 50-30 lead with 11:39 left in regulation.  Lancaster Bible's lead swelled to as many as 24 points (63-39) by the 7:31 mark.

* Abington closed out the final 7:12 minutes of the game by outscoring the Chargers, 32-20, to cut the deficit down to single digits.  However, time was against the Nittany Lions as the rally was cut short by the final buzzer.
