How It Happened (Game 1)

* Lancaster Bible tied the game at 6-6 with a pair of runs in the top half of the sixth inning before Abington scored the go-ahead run in the bottom half.  The Nittany Lions took advantage of a Lancaster Bible fielding error with two outs in the inning that allowed sophomore Hailey Gamble to score the eventual winning-run.

* Starting pitcher Gretchen Yanss retired the first two batters in the top half of the seventh but back-to-back hits by the Chargers put both the tying run and go-ahead run on base.  Yanss was able to force a groundout to the mound on the next batter to retire the side and secure her ninth win of the season.

* Both teams scored in opening inning but back-to-back two run innings by the Nittany Lions gave the home team a 5-1 lead after three.  Senior Jenna Gorman had a two-run single in the second and Yanss recorded a two-run double in the third.

* The Chargers scored three runs in the fourth when Amelia Huey cleared the bases with a three-run double that brought Lancaster Bible within one run of the Abington lead at 5-4.
