How It Happened

* Leading 2-0 entering the fifth inning, Abington put the game out of reach with a six-run frame.  Five different players drove in runs in the inning, including senior Josh Baar who recorded a two-run triple.  Junior Eric Rollins also had an extra base hit in the inning as he drove in a run with a double.

* Sophomore Owen Lynch stifled the Gallaudet offense as he limited the Bison to just three hits in a complete seven inning performance.  Lynch allowed just one run in the game off a sixth inning sacrifice fly.

* Abington scored the game's first run in the second inning when Rollins drove in senior Louis Rossner with a single down the right field line.  The Nittany Lions also had a single run in the fourth with Baar scoring from third after a balk by the Gallaudet pitcher.
