How It Happened

* Both teams totaled double-digit shots in the game but neither said was able to get the ball past each team's respective goalkeepers.  Abington senior Matt Sheldon made four stops in net as he registered his sixth career shutout.

* Sheldon made a key stop in the 87th minute when Stevenson's Leo Borda fired a shot on-target that would have given the Mustangs the lead with less than four minutes to play.  Borda's shot was the final one of the game for either team.

Inside the Numbers

* Freshman Hugh Nungessor led the Nittany Lions with three shots in which two were on-target.  Juniors Eljo Agolli and Roan Vadakan each tallied a pair of shots.

* Stevenson's Ryan Peterson finished the game with five saves in net.

* Abington held the advantage on corner kicks by a 6-4 margin recording three in each half.
