Abington, Pa. – The Penn State Abington women's volleyball team fell short to visiting Albright College in a non-conference match by the score of 3-1 on Tuesday night at the PSA Athletic Building.

Inside the Numbers
 
* Freshman Jayla Hickey led the Nittany Lions with a season-high 13 kills with a .310 attack percentage.
 
* Sophomore Laine Kulpinski finished with a match-high 21 assists to go along with nine digs.
 
* Sophomore Morgan Schaefer totaled a match-high 19 digs.
 
* For Albright, Sophie Hampton recorded a team-high 11 kills, while Neve Straff added eight kills and 10 digs. Paola Mejias led the team with 14 digs.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight marked the sixth match between Abington and Albright since the 2014 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 1-5 versus the Lions in the all-time series.

Abington returns to action on Friday, Sept. 15 as the Nittany Lions travel to face Bryn Mawr College in a non-conference contest.  Match time is set for 7 p.m.
