How It Happened

* Abington wasted no time finding the back of the net as junior Eljo Agolli connected on his first of two goals in the opening half.  His first tally came in the sixth minute of action with junior Arsene Bado and sophomore Tony Colon assisting on the play.  Agolli struck again in in the 24th minute when he corralled a rebounded ball in the box for the score.  Seconds prior, Bado fired a shot that was stopped by Lancaster Bible goalkeeper Richie Lockard but was unable to secure the ball allowing Agolli to knock it in.

* The score remained 2-0 in favor of the Nittany Lions through halftime.  In the second half, Abington quickly increased its lead to 3-0 when Colon scored his second goal of the season less than two minutes into the new stanza.  Senior Mike Thomas set up the scoring play with the assist.

* Colon's goal turned out to be very valuable as Lancaster Bible cut the deficit down to one after scoring in the 61st and 67th minutes.  Owen Nell scored the team's first goal, while Andrew Cox tallied the second that made the score 3-2.

* Lancaster Bible had an opportunity to tie the game in the 87th minute with a point-blank shot on-net by Nell, however senior Matt Sheldon made the key stop to preserve the one-goal victory.  Sheldon finished the game with five saves.

Inside the Numbers

* The two goals by Agolli marked his first multi-goal game of the season and the fourth of his career.

* Bado's two assists marked a career-high.

* Colon finished with three points after scoring his first career game-winning goal.
