Abington, Pa. – The Penn State Abington suffered a 4-0 defeat against visiting Lancaster Bible College in United East Conference (UEC) action on Saturday afternoon at a rainy and windy Memorial Field.

How It Happened
 
* Lancaster Bible scored a pair of goals in each half.  The Chargers broke a scoreless tie in the 21st minute when Leah Perreault scored her third goal of the season.  LBC doubled its lead in the 39th minute after Isabella Eufemia found the back of the net for her fifth goal of the season.
 
* In the second half, Kendal Ream scored both goals for the Chargers.  Her first came in the 48th minute and she followed with her second in the 55th minute to increase the lead to 4-0.  It marked Ream's 10th and 11th scores of the season.
 
* Lancaster Bible's defense limited the Abington offense to just four shots during the game.
 
Inside the Numbers
 
* Sophomore Rachel Wilfrid and freshman Abby Brunnell each made a pair of saves for the Nittany Lions as each played a half in net. 
 
* Senior Grace Burns and junior Madison McDowell both recorded two shots in the game.
 
* For Lancaster Bible, Ream finished the game with five points off two goals and one assist.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked the 14th meeting between Abington and Lancaster Bible since the start of the 2011 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 4-8-2 against the Chargers in the all-time series.
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 26 as the Nittany Lions travel to face Bryn Mawr College in a non-conference contest.  Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
