How It Happened

*  A fourth quarter surge by Gallaudet turned out to be the difference in a closely contested game.  The Bison held a 56-51 lead at the 6:06 mark of the fourth quarter and used a mini 6-0 run to grab the game's first double-digit advantage.  Cassidy Perry converted a pair of free throws to give the Bison a 62-61 lead with 3:32 left on the clock.

* Abington answered on its next possession when freshman Kylie Frey drained her fifth three-pointer of the game to cut the deficit down to single digits.  However, the Bison scored back-to-back jumpers on their next two possessions to push the lead to 66-54 with less than two minutes to play in regulation.

* Abington kept things close in the opening half as the Nittany Lions held leads after the first two quarters.  The Nittany Lions led 33-32 at the half thanks to a four-point play by Frey.  With :32 seconds remaining until halftime, Frey hit a corner three-pointer and was fouled on the shot.  Frey capped the four-point play with a free throw that gave Abington a 33-30 lead before holding a 33-32 edge at the half.

Inside the Numbers

* Mobley recorded her first double-double of the season as she totaled 11 rebounds and a school record 14 assists.  Her record-breaking assist came at the 3:07 mark of the fourth quarter off Frey's fifth three-pointer of the game.  The previous record was set by former standout Shayna Rodriguez who dished out 13 assists against Penn State Berks on Valentine's Day 2017.  Mobley also had a season-high six steals on defense.

* Senior Angela Sanders recorded her fourth straight double-double and the 32nd of her career with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Sanders also totaled four steals.
