How It Happened

* Harrisburg's Giahny Correa scored the game's final seven points in the final :38 seconds, including the go-ahead basket with :11 seconds remaining in regulation.  With the game tied at 73-73, Correa hit a jumper in the paint and was fouled in the process.  She converted the free throw for the three-point play that gave Harrisburg a 76-73 advantage with :11 seconds remaining on the clock.

* Abington attempted a game-tying three-pointer on its ensuing possession but was off the mark.  However, a key offensive board by freshman Layla Reid gave the Nittany Lions a second chance but that final attempt also fell short.  Harrisburg grabbed the defensive board and quickly called a timeout to advance the ball.  Outside the time out, Abington immediately fouled Correa to preserve time.  Correa connected on both free throws to increase the Harrisburg lead to 78-73 with 1.8 seconds remaining.

* Abington led by as many as five points earlier in the fourth quarter.  The Nittany Lions used a 7-0 run to lead 65-60 at the 5:49 mark. Freshman Amirah Hackney scored four of the team's seven points during the run, including a three-pointer that jump started the rally.

* Harrisburg held the game's only double-digit advantage late in the first quarter with the score holding at 16-4.  A 16-6 run ranging from the 3:36 mark of the first quarter to the 7:04 mark of the second quarter brought Abington to within two points of the lead at 22-20.  Abington eventually grabbed the lead for the first time after senior Angela Sanders converted a pair of free throws to make the score 25-24 midway through the quarter. Abington capped the scoring in the first half with a three-pointer by freshman Kylie Frey that gave the Nittany Lions a 33-31 advantage at the half.

Inside the Numbers
