How It Happened

* Abington led by as many as three points late in the first half after breaking a 17-17 tie with three straight points.  Junior Kolby Miller split a pair of free throws before fifth-year Alex Podolski scored a fastbreak basket on the team's following possession to give the Nittany Lions a 20-17 lead with 7:33 to play until halftime.

* Over the next three minutes of action, Lancaster Bible went on a 14-3 run to grab an eight-point advantage (31-23) with less than five minutes remaining in the opening half.  The Nittany Lions quickly followed with a 6-0 surge to come within two points of tying the game when Podolski hit a jumper to cap the run.

* The Chargers responded with a 5-0 run of their own and closed the final three minutes of the half with a 13-6 rally to lead 44-35 at the half.

* Lancaster Bible opened the second half with a layup score to record the first double-digit lead of the game at 46-35.  The Nittany Lions answered back with five straight points, including a three-pointer by Podolski to cut the deficit down to six points at 46-40.

* The Chargers went on a 7-0 run to increase their lead to 53-40.  The Nittany Lions cut the lead back down to single digits with another mini run of five straight points.  However, the Chargers answered right back with back-to-back three-pointers on their next two possessions to grab their biggest lead of the game to that point at 59-45.

* Lancaster Bible led by double-digits the final 13-plus minutes of regulation and held a 20-point advantage with just over six minutes remaining at 73-53.
