How It Happened

* A late goal by the Nittany Lions turned out to be the difference maker in the game.  With less than 15 minutes to play, senior Eljo Agolli connected on his second goal of the season to give Abington the game's first and only lead.  Junior Tony Colon was credited with the assist on the play.

* A minute prior to Agolli's score, Werner made a key stop on a shot by Rosemont's Timothy Kane to keep the game in a scoreless tie.  It was the first of four saves by Werner in the final 16 minutes of play.  His final save came in the 87th minute when he stopped a shot by Mason Quinton to not only preserve the lead but also the shutout.

* Rosemont had a slight edge on shots at 13-12, but the Nittany Lions registered six on-goal shots to just four by the Ravens.  All four came in the final 16 minutes of the second half.

* Abington had two opportunities to score in the opening minutes but the Ravens' Gunner Hoffman made two saves off shots by sophomore Hugh Nungessor in the fifth minute and senior Achillies Triantafyllos in the eighth minute.
