How It Happened

* Two early second half goals by the Nittany Lions broke a scoreless tie and gave Abington the advantage the rest of the game.  Sophomore Nayeska Ravelo connected on what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute to give Abington the game's first and only lead.

* The Nittany Lions nearly doubled their lead minutes after Ravelo's goal, but the shot fired by senior Madison McDowell was stopped by the Raven's Amanda Ritter.

* In the 63rd minute the Nittany Lions were able to get another shot by Ritter as junior Giavonna Rebilas scored the team's second goal to make it a 2-0 game with less than 30 minutes to play.  It marked her third goal of the season.

* The Ravens had a couple of shots on-goal late in the second half, but senior Rachel Wilfrid made both stops in the 75th and 82nd minute to preserve the shutout.
