Abington Falls to Arcadia in Non-Conference Action

Glenside, Pa. –The Penn State Abington men's basketball team dropped a non-conference contest at Arcadia University by the score of 102-58 on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium.

How It Happened
 
* Arcadia shot nearly 60-percent from the field in the first half, including 7-of-9 from deep range.  The Knights scored the game's first nine points and used an opening run of 21-2 to take a commanding 19-point lead by the 12:33 mark.  Arcadia held on to its double-digit lead and took a 51-24 advantage into the locker rooms at halftime.
 
* The Knights' offense efficiency continued into the second half shooting an impressive 74-percent from the field (23-31 FG) to total another 51 points.  Arcadia shot 66-percent from the field for the game and was 11-of-15 from deep range.
 
Inside the Box Score
 
* Freshman Jahad Marable tied his season-high with a 16-point performance to lead the Nittany Lions.
 
* Senior Kobe Devine added seven points and three steals, while freshmen Ryan Black and Anthony Pineda each totaled six points.
 
* For Arcadia, Joshua Okocha totaled 16 points to go along with five assists, while Josh Parks added 15 points.
 
All-Time Series
Today marked the 10th meeting between Abington and Arcadia since the start of the 2011 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 3-7 versus the Knights in the all-time series.
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 19 as the Nittany Lions host Washington College (Md.) in a non-conference contest.  Game time is set for 8 p.m. at the Abington Athletic Building.
