How It Happened

* Bryn Athyn forced a fifth and decisive set after picking up the win in set number four.  The Lions never trailed in the set and came away with a 25-21 victory.

* In the fifth set Abington jumped out to a 5-1 lead after a pair of early kills by sophomore Bryn Atkins. The Nittany Lions went on to increase their lead to 11-6 after a kill from sophomore Zayna Jamaladdin. Bryn Athyn came within one point of the lead at 12-11 after a Riley Breen kill.  However, the Nittany Lions halted a potential game-tying rally when junior Morgan Schaefer made an incredible kill to make the score 13-11.  After a Bryn Athyn attack error, Abington sealed the victory thanks to a kill by junior Alyssa Flickinger.
